The xx | Digipaks
The digipaks for both albums by The xx have a very simple design, however this is still relevant to the band's style of music. The way in which these digipaks only use a few colours and stay simple and minimalistic is very interesting, and is a nice style to use, as it is very modern and minimalistic is becoming more popular.
The digipaks use the same art as the original album covers, which is useful for recognition from consumers but also gives the band more identity, and makes them recognisable to the wider audience base, meaning people who may not necessarily be fans of the band.
This digipak can be used as an influence for our design as the minimalistic style is very appealing and I would be interested to use this kind of style in the design of my digipak.
